Meet the device
A 2 × 2 cm plate of 144 gold electrodes delivers fractional radiofrequency in a controlled thermal pattern, gently warming the deeper layers of skin to the temperature at which collagen contracts and rebuilds. The surface stays calm. The structure underneath gets to work.
The technology
Multi-polar fractional RF is calibrated to deposit energy in the dermis, the collagen layer, and stop there. The fat beneath it is never heated, so you get firmer, denser skin without the hollowing that deeper-penetrating devices can cause. Six red indicators light on contact, and energy flows only while the plate is on skin.
The ritual
01
Cleanse, then apply a thin layer of Sonaveil Conductive Serum or any water-based serum.
02
Move the Eclipse in slow, overlapping strokes for 2–3 seconds per area. A warm-stone warmth, never a sting.
03
2–3 sessions a week for eight weeks, then 1–2 a week to maintain.
A realistic timeline
Weeks 1–2
Skin feels smoother and looks more even as circulation improves.
Weeks 4–8
Firming along the jaw, cheeks and neck as new collagen forms.
Month 3+
Ongoing remodeling; maintenance sessions hold the result.
Individual results vary with age, skin condition, and consistency of use.
Where it works
Jawline & jowls: firming along the mandible where laxity shows first.
Nasolabial folds: support for the fold from the nose to the mouth.
Forehead & crow's feet: smoothing of fine dynamic lines on Low.
Neck & décolletage: crepey texture and horizontal lines.
Body: arms, abdomen and knees on Medium or High.
Illustrative visual, not a customer result.
The honest comparison
Microcurrent tones muscle. LED brightens the surface. Radiofrequency is the only at-home modality that reaches the dermis, the layer where firmness is decided, and it does so for every skin tone, because it heats water in tissue, not pigment.

What you get
Sonaveil Eclipse device · Charging cradle · USB-C cable · Dust cover · Travel pouch · Quick-start guide
Everything you'd ask a dermatologist before trying radiofrequency at home.
No. On Low, the sensation is a mild warmth, like a heated stone. Medium and High feel warmer but should never sting. Start on Low.
Yes. Radiofrequency heats water in tissue, not pigment, so it is suitable for all skin tones.
Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, with a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, metal implants in the treatment area, active cancer, or an autoimmune condition. Avoid open wounds and cold sores, and wait two weeks after injectables, peels, or laser. Do not treat directly over the thyroid.
Yes, on Low, over the orbital bone. Avoid the eyelid itself.
About 90 minutes of treatment, roughly seven sessions. A full charge takes two hours in the cradle.
The Eclipse targets the dermis, not the fat layer beneath it, and delivers controlled, lower-energy heating than in-clinic systems.
Any water-based serum or gel works as a conductive layer. Ours is formulated to glide and to hydrate while you treat.
